Train- The- Trainer Nurse Aide Course
Train-the-Trainer for Nurse Aide (CNA) is intended for RNs and LPNs who wish to teach unlicensed persons and how to establish a program.
CNA Instructor course consist of the learning of CNA theory , lesson development, skill practice and steps you would to take to be success as a teacher or a business owner.
Virginia Board of Nurse require two years of on-the-job experience working with elderly or chronically ill patients. Experience and familiarity in nursing homes and long-term care facilities will meet these requirements.
Target Student: RNs (Only RNs may be the Primary Instructor or additional instructor) and LPNs (LPNs may assist in the skills lab and the clinical portion)

Medication Instructor course will consist of the learning of Medication theory, lesson development, skill practicing and steps to start your own business. This is an approved Program by the Virginia Board of Nursing.
VBON require two years of on-the-job experience working with elderly or chronically ill patients. Experience and familiarity of passing medication in nursing homes and long-term care facilities will meet these requirements.
Pharmacy Technician program you will get the skills you need to work closely with pharmacists in a hospital or retail setting such as Walgreen, CVS and more. Pharmacy techs assist pharmacists with a variety of tasks in the pharmacy, including administrative tasks, providing customer service, and assistance preparing the prescriptions for customers (patients). Graduate fast, prepared for the ExCPT Pharmacy Technician Certification exam from the National Healthcareer Association. Passing the exam earns you the Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential.
68- hour Medication Aide Tech
The 68-Hour Medication Administration training program for CNA, PCA, or DCA healthcare professional is a Virginia Board of Nursing approved curriculum for individuals who want to work in assisted living facilities. Students learn the basic knowledge and skills needed to perform medication administration safely and effectively to prepare them for a position as a Medication Aide . Upon completion of this program all qualify participants are eligible to take the State Registered Medication Aide Exam.

Patient Care Assistant: (P.C.A.)
Per the Department of Medical Assistance Services (DMAS) of Virginia, a “Personal Care Assistant” is one who provides personal care services. The Virginia Department of Medical Assistance Services (DMAS) requires each Personal Care Assistant to complete 40- hours of instruction. The applicant can receive their certification upon successful completion of the Personal Care Assistant program.

Certified Nursing Assistant covers a pretty wide range of duty, including most of the direct patient cares and indirect medical related responsibilities.The Nursing Assistant is responsible to assist the professional staff by performing various resident care activities and related nonprofessional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of the residents. Students learn how to recognize a life-threatening emergency, how to provide basic life support and what to do in case of an airway obstruction or choking. ASHI's CPR Pro for the Professional Rescuer has been approved for training for Emergency Medical Services personnel and is accepted by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT).

The instructor should have practical experience in performing the skills taught and the ability to communicate the skills to students in a clear and precise manner. Preferably, instructors should have at least 1 year of experience in teaching or training others, although this is not required.
